Flocks Of Noisy Sandgrouse Arrive Like Clockwork At A Waterhole In Namibia

Flocks of noisy sand-grouse arrive like clockwork at a waterhole in Namibia. They come to drink, but they also soak up precious drops of water in their breast feathers to carry back to their chicks, who may be dozens of miles away in the desert. A remote camera enabled us to capture the action up close without disturbing the birds. Go to Fran-slanting and Christine to see who else is coming to drink at this waterhole.
